Il y a peu, une amie m’a dit : “Moi je ne me considère pas féministe”.

Déconcertée, je me suis demandée comment une jeune femme de mon âge, à notre époque, en France, pouvait ne pas l’être ; comment une jeune femme pouvait vouloir autre chose que l’égalité des sexes.

En creusant la discussion, nous nous sommes aperçues que la divergence était purement sémantique : pour elle, le terme féminisme impliquait une mise en avant de la femme, et non de l’égalité. Un terme plus juste aurait été humanisme.

Pas de bol, c’est déjà pris.

In my first month at PANDA Guide as a product designer, I spent 24h blindfolded to experiment with the feeling of living as a visually impaired.

PANDA Guide is a French start-up aiming to make the world more accessible to visually impaired people by providing them the right technological tools necessary for their autonomy. I joined as a product designer in September 2019, and as every new employee, I spent 24h blindfolded.

Of course, 24h is quite limited and didn’t allow me to explore most pain points a blind person can encounter, such as doing their groceries, but it gave me very interesting insights on some aspects of their daily struggles. My colleague put me the blindfold at 12am and the deal was to keep it…


Last summer, I traveled to Peru for a month. It was the first time I was traveling alone and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my life. Being immersed in such a different culture for this limited time pushed me to be more active in visiting places, meeting local people, experiencing new things.
